The Calhoun County Commission is calling on all Calhoun residents, past and present, to help us by designing a Calhoun County Seal or Logo!
Prizes awarded for the top three logos in each of these categories:
PreK – 4th Grade
5th Grade – 8th Grade
9th Grade – 12th Grade
Adult
The overall winner’s logo will be featured on correspondence, Facebook, website, flags, posters and everywhere we can think of!

The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) has closed a short-span bridge on County Route 7/3 (Sycamore Creek) in Calhoun County after a structural failure made it unsafe for motorists.
The bridge, located at milepost 0.40 near Basswood Drive, was closed Friday afternoon after crews discovered significant damage to the steel structure. The span will remain closed for an extended period while a full repair plan is developed and implemented.
