Garage Doors for Recycling Center 

​

The Calhoun County Commission is seeking competitive bids for replacement of five (5) garage doors at the Calhoun County Recycling Center at 2427 W. Little Kanawha Hwy Grantsville, WV 26147. Bidders must be licensed and insured. Sealed bids will be accepted until August 24, 2026.  Please mail to PO Box 230, Grantsville, WV 26147; or email to calcom26147@gmail.com.

 

Bidders are encouraged to visit the recycling center and verify requirements/dimensions prior to bidding by calling 304 354-7786.

 

All garage doors – Insulated (R-10 or above), sectional, steel doors; white baked enamel; inside slide lock; electric motor operated with photo eye safety reverse; perimeter weather seal, or equivalent installed. 

 

Public Room door:  11.9 x 12.1; 15” radius stand track; No windows

 

Buy Back Room:  12.2 x 12.1; high lift clear track; No windows.

 

Loading Dock: 10.2 x 10.1; 15” radius stand track; No windows

 

Work Area:  10.0 x 10.1; 15” radius stand track; No windows

 

Bob Cat Room:  8.2 x 8.1; 15” radius stand track; 1 row 24x6 lites/windows

 

Remove existing doors and leave on premises.  May connect to existing motor operators if in good working order.  Bidder to provide any equipment/tools needed for proper and safe installation. If rental equipment is required, include price in the bid.

 

The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality therein. All bids must be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of opening. This project is made available with funds from the WV DEP REAP Grant.

County Clerk Office Renovations

​

 

            The Calhoun County Clerk is seeking bids for a small office renovation project in the Courthouse in Grantsville, WV.  This project may include demolition, electrical work and minor construction. Project details will be provided in the County Clerk's office, or call 304 354-6725. Bidders must be licensed and insured.
